Love is in the air

My Lakers aint slippin when there's moves to make.

Last Thursday, the Boston Celtics saw a 98-88 win to take a 1-0 series lead for 2008 NNBA finals. Stay cool LA - we're coming back on Sunday to show these mothafckas what we're all about.

Our strengths include a not-so-secret asset by the name of Kobe. As reigning league MVP, winning three championships with the Lakers, he needs this title to secure his legacy as one of the league's top 10 all- time players. And though our bench players are better than the Celtics, youthful exuberance and all, admittedly they were looking cottony-soft. Vujac made a positive impact and played hard, but Walton, Turiaf, and Farmar looked as if they were shocked to see players in green. With only Bryant, Walton, and Fisher as experienced Finals players thus far, its most definitely time to step it up. Yes Boston has been down for awhile, but when you say "Lakers" in my presence- anything short of CHAMPIONSHIP is unacceptable.

So Come Sunday, you know what team I'm on.
